Annual Christmas Carol Sing & Lighting Ceremony

Front Campus

Friends from the Greenville area are invited to join the student body for an outdoor carol sing around the University's front-campus fountains, where nearly 100,000 sparkling lights, which have become a Greenville holiday landmark, will be illuminated.

A prelude of Christmas music will begin at 6:15 p.m. Caroling with the University Singers, BJU student body and our guests will begin at 6:30 p.m.

"The name of Kenneth Tse has become synonymous with excellence of the first order when it comes to playing the saxophone."—Saxophone Journal. He has been called “a brilliant saxophonist, worthy of any stage in the world.” It will be our privilege to have internationally known saxophone artist Kenneth Tse join Dan Turner and the Symphonic Wind Band in a concert of brilliant saxophone music! Tse is professor of saxophone at the University of Iowa and president of the International Saxophone Congress, and has a solo career that has taken him to five continents of the world. His performance will include a concerto for saxophone and winds by David DeBoor Canfield and several lighter numbers. The Wind Band will also usher in the festive season with Christmas favorites.

• Friday: Residence hall students whose last names begin with A–G.
• Saturday: Residence hall students whose last names begin with H–Z.
