Concert, Opera & Drama Series: La Cenerentola

Rossini's light comedy draws its storyline from the familiar Cinderella fairy tale. The traditional evil stepmother is replaced with a greedy and ambitious stepfather. Instead of glass slippers there is a pair of matching bracelets. Throw in two conniving stepsisters, a handsome prince and one hilarious valet—and you have an evening of musical enjoyment as true love and forgiveness triumph on the BJU stage.
