The Bob Jones University Annual Fund Drive is a yearly organized effort to seek funds from
BJU’s family and friends for specific projects.
The focus of the 2010 Annual Fund project is the purchase of new tables and desks for Alumni Building classrooms. We are seeking to raise $275,000 to replace as many desks as possible.
The Annual Fund Drive runs concurrently with the school year and will continue through August 2010.
"Classroom furnishings (desks, chairs, tables, etc.) must serve the students’ needs and enhance the learning environment. While student comfort is part of the concern, even more important is the flexibility of the furnishings. Students need tables to hold their laptops and notebooks securely. Professors need to be able to use the classroom for group activities, class discussion, and testing."
