University Archives

Archives Memorabilia Room

The Archives Memorabilia Room is located on the main floor of the library, across from the Jerusalem Chamber. The pictures, text, and artifacts showcase the life of Dr. Bob Jones Sr. and the history of the University he founded in 1927. Other items of interest include the Bible of baseball-great-turned-evangelist Billy Sunday as well as one of his baseball cleats. The beautiful DVD presentation of the history of the school, produced for the 75th anniversary in 2002, is also available for viewing.

Archives Research Center

Located on the third floor of the library, the University Archives Research Center is available to help you with your research project or show you other resources available. Please note that the Research Room primarily deals with the history of the University and the Jones family. Included in our collection are copies of all University publications, Oral Histories from long-time faculty/staff members, sermon transcripts from all three Dr. Joneses, photographs, correspondence, and other artifacts related to the history of the school.
