Visitor Use

Visitors may use the Internet stations in the library if they first read the above policy statement and sign in at the circulation desk. The circulation assistant will provide the username and password.

Objectionable Web Sites

Patrons who encounter an objectionable web site should notify a library staff member or student worker immediately.

If the material is only questionable, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Request Review" on the N2H2 banner. Fill out the form and state the nature of your concerns. The N2H2 staff will review the site and block anything that is offensive.

Sites to be Unblocked

Patrons encountering a blocked site that they think would be useful should click the "View Filtering Policy" button at the bottom of the page. This button brings up a page explaining the filtering rules currently in effect and offers a "Request Review" link on the top left for submitting a site to be unblocked. Requests should be stated politely. It may take several days before a site is unblocked.
