Distance Education Library Services
The J. S. Mack Library endeavors to support the distance education programs offered through the Extended Education Division. We offer special services to the distance education students of Bob Jones University. Click here to view Services Available.
Students Eligible for Distance Education Library Services
In order to qualify for these services, you must:
- be currently enrolled in one of the following distance
education programs:
- a correspondence course from the Extended Education Division of Bob Jones University
- a LINC course on the university or graduate level offered by the Extended Education Division of Bob Jones University
- the dissertation phase in one of the following degree programs from Bob Jones University: Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Min., D.P.T.
- live outside the Greenville area (more than 50 miles from
Greenville)
Students who live within 2 hours driving distance of BJU are strongly encouraged to come to the library in person.
- request materials that are needed to complete a project,
paper, or reading selection assigned for the distance education
class (or dissertation research) from Bob Jones University
Please route all material requests for personal research through the InterLibrary Loan department of your local library.
These services are not available to students enrolled in classes held on the BJU campus or to BJU town students on summer/Christmas vacation.

Distance Education students may contact the library via phone, email, fax, or mail. Please include your name, ID number, and course number on all correspondence.

All information except short factual answers will be sent by first class US Mail. Books will be shipped by UPS Ground Service. Please plan ahead for the mail delay.
In general, all requests will be processed within 48 hours.
