The "Fullness of the Time" and the Reformation

Speaker:
Dr. David Fisher

Subject:
History

Description:
Galatians 4:4 describes the “fullness of the time” when God sent His Son into the Greco-Roman world to accomplish His redemptive mission. The ancient world had been divinely prepared for the Incarnation of Christ as the “ripeness” of that divine preparation had been accomplished. In this 500th anniversary year of the outbreak of the Protestant Reformation, we will explore the Reformation period as another example of the “fullness of time” theme by which God’s preparatory providence orchestrated the events that led up to and advanced the Reformation movement.
