Career Assessment Resources
Not sure about your college major? Uncertain about what type of employment to pursue? Considering a change in your career path?
Look into taking one or both of the following 2 career assessments to better understand your interests and your abilities in light of God’s leading in your life.
Strong Interest Inventory: What Major? What Career?
This 30-minute inventory is available to BJU students and may be taken online at no charge. Contact the Career Services office for directions on how to access the online version of the inventory. The online inventory is scored immediately, and the results will be shared during a follow-up appointment with a Career Services staff member. Follow-up counsel covers a detailed report to help students become more confident about God’s leading in their choice of major and career goals.
Alumni can also take advantage of the Strong Interest Inventory and receive advice on what best to pursue if you are contemplating a career move. Receive instructions on how to access the online inventory and receive a follow-up review of your report ($10 fee) by emailing Career Services.
Alumni may also want to consider reviewing the helpful advice on deciding God’s will which is included in the student resource on Changing/Choosing a Major. Many of the same principles in this resource apply to making career changing decisions.
