Published twice yearly by Bob Jones University, Biblical Viewpoint offers insight into various topics and books of the Bible. This insight is gleaned from the studies of the Bob Jones University School of Religion and Seminary faculty. The issues are divided into six sections.
Editorial — Biblical Viewpoint editor, Dr. Dan Olinger, makes his personal observations on the topic or book at hand. The editorial is a good springboard for the rest of the study.
Introduction to the book to be studied — This is an expositional outline of the entire book under consideration.
Articles — Various faculty members expound a particular portion of Scripture or focus in on a facet of the topic featured.
Annotated Bibliography — Perhaps one of the greatest assets of Biblical Viewpoint is that the writers do not ask you to merely "take their word for it." Each issue has an extensive bibliography allowing you to broaden your own study.
The Pastor's Bookshelf — You will find these reviews to be a help as you consider which religious book you will dig into next. Why waste your time or money on an unfamiliar title? Let the Pastor's Bookshelf be your guide.
The Critic's Corner — There are some books that, while not indispensable to the pastor's study, make for interesting reading. Then there are some books you should avoid at all cost! You will find these books in the Critic's Corner.
