Ministry in the Local Church

The Lord has blessed me in enabling me to participate in the ministry of the local church here in Greenville. My particular ministry involves preaching, special music, church projects and ushering.

Many students come to participate in the music ministry, which provides much needed opportunities for musicians in a small church environment. The Lord has provided opportunities for service in the most practical way. This ministry exists for one purpose: “that in all things, He might have the preeminence.” I'm so thankful for what the Lord has allowed.

The Lord has taught me and grown me over the last three years in my extension to a small church in town. I was the only person from BJ going there, but now several girls are going with me and we’re able to lead and learn together. What started as an opportunity to play piano for them has now brought me to leading the children’s Sunday school class.

I know that I could not do it on my own, but the Lord has been gracious to me and the people at my church. What was a simple opportunity for ministry has grown into a love for those people that I serve with.
