Stephen Endres
Stephen Endres is from South Bend, Ind., and he graduated from Bob Jones University in May 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in pastoral studies and a minor in composite speech and in May 2009 with a master’s degree in counseling. While a BJU undergraduate student, Stephen had many opportunities to serve in leadership roles and to be involved in extracurricular activities. He enjoyed playing basketball for his society and using the sport as an evangelistic tool in the Greenville community.
Many college students face financial difficulties—and Stephen was one of them. After his sophomore year, the Lord gave him the opportunity to work on the program staff at The Wilds Christian Camp in Brevard, N.C., to earn money for his college tuition. He says it was the most spiritually challenging and fun year of his life. Stephen returned to BJU, and he served as a resident assistant during his junior and senior years. During the summers, Stephen counseled at The Wilds and at Camp CoBeAc near Prudenville, Mich., and interned at his home church, Community Baptist Church in South Bend.
Stephen enjoys basketball, golf, music, fishing, Notre Dame football, the Chicago Cubs and spending time with his family and friends. He lives in Greenville, S.C.
