Archives Memorabilia RoomThe Archives Memorabilia Room, located in the Mack Library, displays a collection of photographs and other memorabilia dealing with the history of Bob Jones University and events with which the University has been closely associated. The earliest items are related to the life and ministry of Dr. Bob Jones Sr., for it was out of his vision, experience, determination, and faithfulness that God brought the institution into being.
A brief video showing the history of the University from its founding to the present can be viewed in the Archives Memorabilia Room. |

Jerusalem ChamberTucked away in a corner of the Mack Library is the Jerusalem Chamber, a Tudor-style replica of the original Jerusalem Chamber in Westminster Abbey in London, England. The original Jerusalem Chamber was the location of the council that set in motion the authorization of the original King James Version of the Bible.
The wall paneling displays the most obvious examples of the Tudor style with its Tudor rose, Henry VIII’s Portcullis badge and Catherine of Aragon’s Pomegranate badge. A woven tapestry from Flanders hangs on the wall. The tapestry depicts Eliezer and Rebecca drawing water from the well as portrayed in Genesis 24.
Instead of a boardroom-style table and chairs housed in the original room, the replica contains several display cases housing the University’s collection of rare Bibles. Among the rare Bibles are various codices, a Dutch Bible, a Geneva Bible, a “Great” Bible, a Luther Bible and an original 1611 King James Version. |

Seminary RotundaThe first floor exhibits include multimedia computer presentations and memorabilia about Dr. Bob Jones Jr.’s unique talents, personality and active evangelism. Another display honors the past leaders of the Ministerial Class. Along with the biographies of these men, this room features pictures of the Ministerial Class through the years and computer multimedia presentations that trace the Ministerial Class directors’, Bob Jones Jr.’s and Bob Jones University’s role in evangelism in America.
The second floor features computer multimedia presentations on the topic of missions and the Seminary faculty and programs. The upper level of the rotunda also features a 20' long and 7' high mural that pictures 17 evangelists and 3 noted hymn writers. On the wall across from the mural are descriptions of these 20 individuals. |
