History
- The residence halls for women are named for:
- Nell Sunday: Named in honor of Mrs. Billy Sunday
- Margaret Mack: Named for good friend of the school in the early years
- Georgia Creel: Named in honor of Dr. Bob Jones Sr.’s mother
- Estelle Siddons: Named for Mrs. Bob Jones Sr.’s mother
- Mary Gaston: Named for Mrs. Bob Jones Sr.; houses cosmetology lab
- The men’s residence halls are named for:
- Bibb Graves: Board member, friend of Dr. Bob Sr., and former governor of Alabama
- Ernest Reveal: Former board member and founder of Rescue Mission, Evansville, Ind.
- Charles Brokenshire: Former dean of the School of Religion
- J.Y. Smith: Christian businessman and former board member
- R.K. Johnson: Longtime business manager of BJU
