Division of Teacher Education
In support of the University’s mission to build Christlike character, the Division of Teacher Education exists to prepare teacher candidates to teach with excellence in classrooms around the world.
The division’s state-approved programs include curriculum and field experiences that are designed to provide candidates with a biblical worldview, content knowledge and proven instructional strategies with an understanding of diverse learner characteristics.
Through partnerships with Christian and public schools, candidates are mentored by experienced teachers to become ethical, responsive and informed practitioners who are committed to successfully impact the learning and development of future students in a changing world.

Division of Educational, Child
& Family Studies
In support of the University’s mission to build Christlike character, the Division of Educational, Child and Family Studies exists to equip Christian graduates to improve the lives of children, youth, families and communities at home and around the world. All programs in the division provide students with opportunities to learn and serve in real-world settings guided by university and field-based mentors.
Students are well prepared for graduate work and for entry-level employment in a range of human and educational-service sectors, including social and community service programs, youth sports and recreation, parent/family education, early care/education, early intervention and special education services that do not require teacher licensure.

Division of Adult & Graduate
Studies
In support of the University’s mission to build Christlike character, the Division of Adult and Graduate Studies exists to provide a path for working adults to advance in their current position or explore new professional opportunities by offering certificates and graduate degree programs.
These online programs provide them with the knowledge, skills and creative problem-solving abilities demanded by today’s educational settings. Coursework seeks to provide students with a biblical worldview, content knowledge, understanding of diverse learner characteristics, professional knowledge, skills and dispositions and practicum experiences to help them become effective instructional leaders in schools at home and around the world.
