About

Lori Lane has been involved with entrepreneurship, the arts, and arts education for over 35
years. Her inspiring, informative, and engaging style have allowed her to speak at arts,
entrepreneurial, and educational conferences, broadcasts, and workshops. Lori taught
classroom music, piano, theatre, and directed children, youth, and adult theatre productions in
several states. Her passion and enthusiasm for young people, the arts, and arts
entrepreneurship is undeniable. She is the author of Beginning with the End in Mind, and The
Artios Home Companion Series.

Lori began her entrepreneurial journey with the launch of Lane Music Centers in 1988, and in
the fall of 1999, began Artios Academies for the Visual and Performing Arts in Atlanta, GA.
Award-winning Artios campuses are now located in Colorado, Georgia, Texas, Michigan,
Virginia, and South Carolina. Lori currently serves as the Creative DIrector of Artios and also
teaches The Entrepreneurial Musician and Music in the Community classes at Bob Jones University.

Lori holds a Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance and a Masters in Music Education and was a national winner of the Baldwin Piano and Organ Fellowship, and a competitor at state and speaker at national MTNA conferences.
