The Jr-Sr Banquet should be a highlight event for Juniors and Seniors, but it is a major undertaking for any teacher to have added to his/her load. This workshop gives ways to direct and produce a successful Junior-Senior Banquet. First, the session deals with the philosophy that must be the foundation for presenting the banquet. Getting started, setting a timetable, and choosing a theme are covered. Ideas on how to honor the seniors are explored. The workshop then continues on with incorporating the theme into the decorations and the program. Resources for decoration ideas are discussed and examples are given. Suggestions for including a successful program are given.
