his workshop will provide information about various ways to help children who have academic and social struggles through various formats with some research. The formats include some lecture, video clips, and handouts about specific ways to help children. The information will include specific learning and instructional strategies that can be implemented by parents. A discussion will include how to implement leaning strategies to enhance a child’s learning and to provide learning tools to empower children. In addition, there will be checklists provided as tools to identify problems your child may be experiencing and specific strategies to help them. This workshop is in two parts to cover specific types of disabilities.
