Description:
Most picture books attract children's attention. Children are frequently asked to quietly listen to the story. What about getting the children actively involved by thinking and telling the story? In this workshop, we will learn about and explore the parts of a dialogic read aloud. Participants will practice being the listener, the questioner, and the audience for the children. Participants will be able to see and touch some picture books appropriate for all ages of children.
