In 2018, Dr. Scott Buhr led his AP Physics class to set a world record for the highest launch from a Galilean cannon. More than a fun stunt, this activity incorporated collaborative learning activities that engaged students in a special way. This session will explore how special classroom projects can be a highly effective tool for engaging students, exciting parents, and building school spirit. Special attention will be given to how ideas can be generated, funded, and executed.
