College of Arts and Science

Dean: Renae M. Wentworth, EdD

The College of Arts and Science broadly impacts local communities around the world by preparing men and women to excel in areas such as the natural sciences, engineering, modern languages and national and international civics. Many students graduate prepared for careers such as nursing, criminal justice, and information technology, while others leave ready to pursue graduate degrees in law, medicine, history and more.

By teaching students to understand and constructively respond to the political, social and economic issues facing our nation and world, the College of Arts and Science prepares community leaders to bring ethical, lasting solutions to a needy society.
