About
Dr. Jared Linebach received his Ph.D. from the California School of Forensic Studies in 2011 in forensic psychology, his MAFP from California School of Forensic Studies, and his BA from Clearwater Christian College. He is a research psychologist with generalist interests in psychology in criminal justice. Much of his research has been in campus law enforcement and judicial decision making and now helps guides the next generation of psychological researchers.
Dr. Linebach has taught criminal justice and psychology courses since completing his MAFP in 2009. His focus at Bob Jones University has been in the field of psychology. Psychology is often contrary to Scripture. Dr. Linebach sees his job teaching psychology as three-fold. First, we as believers should know the Scriptures well, it is vitally important. Second, we need to be familiar with the secular theory and concepts found in the field of psychology. Third, we need the wisdom that comes only from God to be able to keep the two separate.
Dr. Linebach has published several articles in Christus Cultura: The Journal of Christianity and the Social Sciences and books including Nonparametric Statistics for Applied Research in 2013 and Psychology in the Justice System in 2022.
