About Bill

Recently retired, Bill taught in the School of Business for fifteen years and continues part time as an adjunct professor focusing on the business internship program. Prior to teaching at BJU, Bill was adjunct professor at Olivet Nazaene University and The University of St. Francis in Illinois. teaching economics and management related courses.

Before coming to BJU, his business career spanned three decades in many different fields, including wholesaling, manufacturer's representative, insurance and investment sales, training and development, and business banking. Much of that time was invested in management with Warner Lambert, a Fortune 50 company, and two banks, First Midwest Bank and US Bank, in the Chicago IL market. This diverse business background gives him the ability to bring a broad range of exerience and perspective to the classroom.

Additionally, he has owned small businesses and currently owns and manages several rental properties as the owner of Burkwood Properties, LLC.

He plans to continue to be engaged with the School of Business during his retirement and looks forward to seeing the school continue to grow in expertise and influence.
