Renton Rathbun
Director of the Center for Biblical Worldview
Renton Rathbun is committed to developing a biblical worldview in faculty, staff, and students which begins in the heart, is refined by the mind, and leads to service for others.
As the director of the Center for Biblical Worldview, Renton works to support the mission of BJU by helping align the entire organization with one unified vision of biblical worldview.
Renton holds a BS in English education and an MA in interpretative speech from BJU. He has an MFA in creative writing from Minnesota State University, an MA in philosophy from the University of Toledo, a ThM in systematic theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, and a PhD in apologetics from Westminster Theological Seminary.
He has been a college professor for over twenty years teaching in both public and Christian colleges and universities. He is a national speaker on biblical worldview.
Renton and his wife, April, have three children. He serves in his church as director of men’s ministry.
