When a person is asked to reflect on the teacher that impacted them the most, they will most likely think of one who encouraged or helped them on a personal level rather than the one who taught them content. A teacher’s interpersonal skills creates a basis for building positive relationships with their students which in turn can create a positive classroom environment for learning. This workshop explores the characteristics of the effective teacher who can not only communicate content but more importantly impact student’s lives for the future.
