Description:
Students with specific learning disabilities (SLD) constitute the largest segment of the special education population in the US. Do students with SLD exist in the private school sector? If so, how do we identify them? What is our responsibility as Christian school educators to these students and their parents? In this introductory workshop, Mrs. Miller will address these common concerns and will challenge the Christian educator to consider his/her role in the identification and support of those students with SLD in the Christian school classroom.
