The designation "Biblical Counseling" often elicits a wide variety of opinions about the essence of counseling. Inherent within the approach is an assumed union with the scriptures, but what does that procedure actually look like? There must be some methodological framework that governs how we use the scriptures. In this workshop, we examine the range of possible methodologies for using the scriptures in counseling, endeavoring to use the method that allows the text to speak most freely and accurately.
