About
Dr. Bruce Meyer is Professor of Biblical Studies and Counseling. He earned his B.A. and M.A. in Bible from Bob Jones University and completed both the M.Div. and D.Min. in Biblical Counseling at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. He is certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
Since beginning his teaching career in 1993, Dr. Meyer has served in higher education since 2001 and has ministered in multiple church roles, including teacher, school administrator, assistant pastor, and pastor. His teaching ministry has extended internationally to South America and Asia.
Following nineteen years on the faculty of Maranatha Baptist University, he joined the seminary faculty at Bob Jones University in 2021. His counseling expertise focuses on abuse recovery, trauma, and addictions. He and his wife, Kathy, have been married since 1987 and are blessed with four children and eight grandchildren.
