About

Madison Avery is a graduate of Bob Jones University with a BA and an MA in Communication Studies. She has a passion for both the field of communication and teaching. She desires to inspire her students to love learning from a biblical worldview and endeavors to help them grow and excel both academically and spiritually. During her graduate school years, Madison taught Com 101—Fundamentals of Speech and earned the graduate assistant excellence in teaching awards for the 2021-22 and 2023-24 academic years. 

Madison currently teaches Com 101—Fundamentals of Speech and Com 410—Oral Communication for the Professions and is the faculty sponsor for the BJU chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society. 

Madison grew up in North Carolina but has loved living in Greenville for the last 15 years. She is active in her local church and assists in the children’s ministries. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
