About Steve
Dr. Steve Casarow joined the Division of Business Management in the fall of 2017. Before coming to BJU, Dr. Casarow served as the Human Resource and Quality Assurance Manager at Metalcraft Services in Tampa, Florida.
From 2002 to 2014, Dr. Casarow taught courses in management principles, financial management, organizational behavior, securities and investments, advanced computer applications, systems analysis and design, data communications and networks, and business communications as Associate Professor of Business at Clearwater Christian College. He also served as the golf coach. Dr. Casarow was an Adjunct Instructor of Business for Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin, and Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Prior to his appointments in academia, Dr. Casarow held various sales and information technology positions for 25 years. This experience provides a depth of insight that enriches his teaching.
Dr. Casarow is married to Dr. Pattye Casarow of the BJU Division of Music. They have four children, Jayne, Stephen, Jonathan, and Patrick. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and flying. Dr. Casarow is a multi-engine, commercial, instrument-rated pilot.
