Faculty Guitar Recital: Dr. Isaac Greene

Dr. Isaac Greene will present a concert highlighting works by three great composers of the Baroque: Francesco de Milano, John Dowland, and Silvius Leopold Weiss. These three lutenists were some of the most famous and sought-after musicians of their day but are largely unknown today as the lute faded from popularity by the end of the baroque period.

The String Orchestra, conducted by Yuriy Leonovich, presents “F is for Fun.” Enjoy works by Bach and Mozart both in F major. Bach’s Keyboard Concerto, BWV 1057 will feature Dr. Stephen Schaub on the harpsichord and Dr. Esther Waite on the flute.
